Two weekends ago my cousin Andrea had her bachelorette party. Her best friend Anna, who is also her maid of honor, threw the shin dig. I arrived at Express MiE in Tempe not really knowing what to expect. Apparently I, along with my cousin and four of her other friends, was about to embark in a private dance class devoted to the art of pole dancing and lap dances. Let me tell you, pole dancing is not as easy as it seems. A lot of upper body strength is involved. But I am proud to say that now if Nick and I are desperate for money, I can get a job at the local strip club. I would post pictures but I am afraid that they are a little "risky". It was a blast learning the moves in stripper heels and practicing a lap dance on an empty chair. I almost want to put a pole up in the bedroom. JK.
This last weekend Nick and I ran in the Ragnar Relay. Below is a little blurb taken off the Ragnar website for those of you who are unfamiliar with the relay:
You and 11 of your closest friends running 200(ish) miles, day and night, relay-style, through some of the most scenic terrain North America could muster. Add in crazy runners, inside jokes and a mild case of sleep deprivation. The result? Some call it a slumber party without sleep, pillows or deodorant. We call it a Ragnar Relay.
This was my fourth time doing the relay and I have to say it was the best one so far. Below are some pictures from the relay
